What is newsworthy? This is a question that many have pondered especially with some the things that are covered online. Online Journalism has allowed all types of news to be covered because it allows for numerous sites to be created that can focus on everything from weird news to national and world news.
A story on Allweirdnews.com will truly bring a giggle and a shock to all who read it but it will also give people some good advice. A man in West Virginia was charged with battery on a police officer when officers said he passed gas and then fanned it toward them. (Okay now take a moment, think about this, and now just laugh). The man was pulled over for driving with no headlights and failed three sobriety tests. While he sat in a chair at the station was when the gas in question was passed.
The idea that a police officer could actually claim that passing gas on someone is considered battery is a little outrageous. Granted, it's rude, gross, disgusting, and smelly but does this constitute battery? Either way a lesson can be learned from this weird and outrageous news, next time your around a police officer just hold all bodily functions to yourself and then that's one less charge anyone will have to worry about. (LOL!)
